Insurance made Simple

Most private psychiatry practices in the Wellesley area are self-pay only. Dr. Chopra’s practice is different — a Harvard-affiliated, boutique psychiatry and sleep medicine practice that’s still in-network with major insurers, so specialized care doesn’t have to mean paying out of pocket.

Dr. Chopra is in-network with:

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts
  • Harvard Pilgrim
  • Humana
  • Optum
  • Aetna
  • UnitedHealthcare
  • Mass General Brigham Health Plan
  • Cigna
If your plan isn’t listed, don’t assume you’re out of luck — call us at +1 626 594 6042 on and we’ll check your coverage before you book.

Out-of-Network Care

If we’re not in-network with your specific plan, you can still be seen as an out-of-network patient. You pay for your visit at the time of service, and we provide a detailed invoice (called a superbill) that you submit to your insurer for possible reimbursement. Many PPO plans reimburse a meaningful portion of out-of-network mental health visits — it’s worth calling your insurer to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits before your first appointment.
